2019/2020 Winter Forays, (sorry, all now full):

———————————————

Since I started doing forays, (guided hunts) in 2001, my joy for teaching people that don’t know, and learning more from those that do know about mushrooms, who attend these forays, has continued to grow and grow. I have now guided over 2000 people and completed more than 370 forays in over 35 states! Many spring Morel forays quickly book up and as many as 20 on a waiting list. I have decided to start an earlier registration for the upcoming forays, giving everyone ample time to make plans and arrangements to attend the foray of their choice. I now am offering Fall, Winter and Spring Forays for the upcoming mushroom seasons. These forays are the best possible way to build your own knowledge and have hands-on experience in the woods! And even if you are quite knowledgeable yourself, meet new friends and enjoy some of the best tasting mushroom dishes created by Chris that one can imagine! Remember, it is not just about going out to Chris’ best spots that he shares across the country and slamming them, but a huge learning experience, enjoying diverse hunters’ company, and enjoying some amazing mushroom cuisine with as many as 20+ wild plant and mushroom dishes on the feast! Our goal is always to find plenty to cook with, and enough left over so everyone can bring some home, (party-favors)!

Kids under 10 are FREE HUNTING! (if they need lunch and feast included, cost is just $50)

Please Note: Each person who attends receives a nice picnic Lunch, Feast, and link to the online foray video. Mesh bags will be available for purchase if you need one. If you need to cancel for any reason, you may transfer to any other upcoming foray for just a $25 re-registration fee, no refunds will be given. Most forays are two days of hunting, others are “extended forays” with three days of hunting.
