Upcoming Member Forays (Guided Mushroom Hunts w/ Cooking Demos)


     Since I started doing forays in 2001, my joy for teaching people that don't know, and learning more from those that do know about mushrooms, who attend these forays, has continued to grow and grow. With the two spring 2009 Morel forays being quickly booked up and as many as 20 on a waiting list, I have decided to start an earlier registration for the upcoming forays, giving everyone ample time to make plans and arrangements to attend the foray of their choice. I now am offering Fall, Winter and Spring Forays for the upcoming mushroom seasons. To register early, it is as little as a $50.00 deposit per person to hold your spot. You will be billed the balance 30-60 days prior to the trip. These forays are the best possible way to build your own knowledge and have hands-on experience in the woods! And even if you are quite knowledgeable yourself, meet new friends and enjoy some of the best tasting mushroom dishes created by Chris that one can imagine!


Please note: Every Foray includes mushroom identification classes during the power point presentations, and you will be given a test. If you pass you get a certificate of completion!
