Psathyrella candolleana

Common name:  Common Psathyrella
Where found:  Usually in groups loosely scattered around stumps of  well decayed deciduous trees from spring until fall.
Edibility: Excellent
Comment:  These are a great addition to any mycophagist list of edible species.  The only draw back is the are very fragile and difficult to get home without them becoming a jumbled mess.
