Lepiota rachodes (Macrolepiota rachodes)

Macrolepiota rachodes ( Shaggy Parasol): Excellent edible:  I find these around the base of my chicken house in summer.  They have large coarsely scaly top, the stem will turn brown where bruised, the flesh will turn a shade of burnt orange where cut, especially around base of stalk.  Spore print: white.  Look alikes Chlorophyllum molybdites ( Green Gilled Lepiota) which is poisonous and has a green spore print
