Come and join Chris Matherly, Mycologist David Fischer, Chris Ott, and Hugh Urban (whom I am sure you have seen their hundreds of postings in the mushroom finds report pages) in Ohio for the 2007 Morel Mushroom Hunting Club's First Hen Of The Woods Member Foray. If you have followed this site, then you have seen photos posted for the past 2 years of these beautiful mushrooms that they have found there in Ohio! Last year alone they found more than 100 total rosette's of this beautiful mushroom! This is my second non-Morel Foray, so be sure and participate in the ground breaking event! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so make sure you register immediately, as it will be on a first come first served basis, and limited to the first 15 registrants.

We will have our "Base Camp" at Alum Creek State Park near Columbus, Ohio. There camping available at the park, and many close by hotels.
What is included?
* Friday Night Meet and Chat at the Park Office.
* 1 1/2- Days of guided Mushroom hunting.
* Lunch and drinks for Day One.
* A very nice Morel Club T-Shirt (Hen Of The Woods).
* A DVD movie of our foray and events.
* A Mushroom presentation by Mycologist David Fischer on Saturday Eve, questions and answers/ slideshow, snacks!
* And best of all- A Steak and Mushroom Cooked-Out Feast! with A Sampling of one of Chris' Unique Pasta/ Fettuccini Alfredo and Maitake Recipe on Sunday. Also we will have Hen Of The Woods Herbal Tea. This is a medicinal and very health oriented mushroom!
* Assistance with Camping/ Park Lodging/ or finding a Hotel.
