This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so make sure you register immediately, as it will be on a first come first served basis, and limited to the first 15 registrants. Bring your dog and train him if you like! You will get hands-on experience in the technique of harvesting truffles! The utmost care will be taken in our harvest methods, and on the environment! It is also very important that we harvest only "ripe" Truffles. We go by the rules and any permits that are needed is included with your registration fees. Quite a learning experience! Best of all- taste a special mushroom dish enhanced by the taste of these truffles!

"Don't eat that truffle piggy"!

Newly added activities on this trip will include a trained dog that can find ripe truffles! There will also be a special presentation on truffles given by one of the top truffle experts in the country! There will be wine sampling and truffle cooking demonstrations, and many other interesting things on this trip..

Optional Mushroom Dinner at Jack and Chris Cerzecki's Restaurant!

Skip holds a Black truffle he was lucky enough to find under his first tree! He attended the 2010 Truffle Foray!

Above were found at the 2010 Truffle Foray!

The 2010 Truffle Foray group! Two trained dogs helped find the truffles!

Three distinct and edible truffles that were found at the 2010 foray...

Oregon White truffles

Oregon Black Truffles

Italian White Truffles can be huge!

Two main types of Oregon truffles are currently harvested in the state, the Oregon white truffles (Tuber oregonense) and (Tuber gibbosum). The while truffles are actually two of the three species that fruit at different times of the year, but are often sold as the same truffle.
