When:   Friday Night February 19th, Saturday February 20th, Sunday February 21st, 2010

Come and join Chris Matherly,  for the 2010 Morel Mushroom Hunting Club Member's 1st Truffle Foray. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so make sure you register immediately, as it will be on a first come first served basis, and limited to the first 15 registrants. Bring your dog and train him if you like! You will get hands-on experience in the technique of harvesting truffles! The utmost care will be taken in our harvest methods, and on the environment! It is also very important that we harvest only "ripe" Truffles, that is why I have set the dates for late February. We go by the rules and any permits that are needed is included with your registration fees. Quite a learning experience! Best of all- taste a special mushroom dish enhanced by the taste of these truffles!

Update!!!

Newly added activities on this trip will include a trained search and rescue dog that can find ripe truffles! There will also be a special presentation on truffles given by one of the top truffle experts in the country! There will be wine sampling and truffle cooking demonstrations, and many other interesting things on this trip. This foray is already over half full, so hurry and don't miss out!
