2008 Oregon Cascades Morel Foray

Some finds made at one of Chris' Guided Forays in 2007

     Come and join Chris Matherly and Chef "Pmack"in the mountains of Oregon to hunt the Motherlode of Morels, just waiting to be found! We have several key locations that contain the most unbelievable Morels to be found in the state of Oregon! Several prime hunting spots will be searched. This is a unique opportunity, and the first Foray Chris has conducted in the Pacific Northwest, a once in a lifetime opportunity so make sure you register immediately, as it will be on a first come first served basis, and limited to the first 15 registrants.

What is included?

* Wednesday Night Meet and Chat

* 2- Days of Morel hunting.

* Lunch and drinks for day one

* A very nice Morel Club T-Shirt.

* A DVD movie of our foray and events.

* A Mushroom Presentation Thursday Eve

* And best of all- A Steak and Morel  Feast, including Fried Morels, Cream Of Morel Soup, and a special Italian dish- Fettuccini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken and Morels, and I am certain that Chef PMack will have something special as well!

* Assistance with Park Lodging/Camping or finding a Hotel.

Where:   To be held aprox. within one hour from Portland in the heart of the Cascade Mountains

When: Wednesday April 30th,Thursday May 1st, Friday May 2nd,2008

Deadline for registration: April 5th, 2008(full payment must be received by)

Itinerary:

7:00 PM Wednesday- Meet and Chat- Get hyped up! (Get a sneak-peek of some Morels)!

8:00 AM Thursday- Begin the hunt!

Packed sandwiches for lunch at 11:30 AM

More hunting until about 4:00 PM.

7:00 PM Thursday- Mushroom Presentation and snacks

8:00 AM Friday more hunting! Until about 11:00 AM

12:00 Shelter Reserved for our cook-out/ steak and mushroom feast. Until about 2:00 PM

Costs:

One Person Single- $195.00

Two Person Couple- $335.00

Requirements: Simply be a current member of the Morel Mushroom Hunting Club-

Prices: (Covers costs of facility rentals/ food/ T-Shirts/ DVD's)

New Option- Pay a $50.00 Deposit per person, and we will hold your spot. You will be required to pay in full before the deadline though. Hope this helps you out! If more than one in your group is going, please change quantity in appropriate box, it will be a $50.00 deposit for each person.
