Where: To be held in 2-3 Locations near College Corner, Ohio and Richmond, Indiana.
When: Friday Night October 17th Saturday October 18th, and Sunday October 19th, 2008
Come and join Chris Matherly in Ohio for the 2008 Morel Mushroom Hunting Club's 2nd Hen Of The Woods Member Foray. If you have followed this site, then you have seen photos posted for the past few years of these beautiful mushrooms that they have found there in Ohio! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so make sure you register immediately, as it will be on a first come first served basis, and limited to the first 15 registrants.

We will have our "Base Camp" at Hueston Woods State Park near College Corner, Ohio. There camping available at the park, cabins and lodging at the park lodge, as well as a great restaurant there, and many close by hotels.
Many other edible mushrooms may also be found on this foray including:
Shaggy Parasols
Shaggy Manes
Giant Puffballs
Oyster Mushrooms
And much, much more!
What is included?
* Friday Night Meet and Chat at the Park Office. A Cooking Demonstration will be given by Chris Matherly!
* 1 1/2- Days of guided Mushroom hunting.
* Lunch and drinks for Day One.
* A very nice Morel Club T-Shirt (Hen Of The Woods).
* A DVD movie of our foray and events.
* And best of all- A Steak and Mushroom Cooked-Out Feast! with A Sampling of one of Chris' Unique Pasta/ Fettuccini Alfredo and Maitake Recipe on Sunday. Also we will have Hen Of The Woods Herbal Tea. This is a medicinal and very health oriented mushroom!
* Assistance with Camping/ Park Lodging/ or finding a Hotel.
